Inspired through personal research around the development of the knitwear and cashmere industry since 17th century. I learned that the world’s finest cashmere yarns originated in 17th-century India during the Mughal political period. In subsequent decades, the production of cashmere reduced significantly due to political turmoil and eventually caused the sourcing and production industry to reduce overwhelmingly to negligent.
Our brand reimagines this lost legacy through a modern lens. With ethically sourced materials and partnerships in Hong Kong and China, we’ve created the first-ever knitwear collection rooted in Mughal-era craftsmanship. Launching August 2025, this collection celebrates India’s historic artistry through naturally sourced yarns and sustainable production processes.
