My name is Aashka Mehta, founder and CEO of SHOP AASHKA. I started the brand in 2020 after relocating to Houston, Texas.

For the past decade, I've designed sweaters for brands like Nordstrom, Calvin Klein, Diane von Furstenberg, and Aeropostale. I'm very precise and was always fascinated by what makes a sweater truly special—and one you’ll want to wear for years.

Most sweaters in the market are itchy, dull, or uninteresting. I set out to create a sweater from a fashion designer's perspective - buttery soft, stretchy, cozy, warm and exciting to wear.

After countless samples and challenges, SHOP AASHKA was born: beautifully crafted sweaters designed to feel as good as they look, without polluting the environment.
